Sandford Ward Within Fulbrook Centre

Some toilets were not always clean when I went to use them when I first arrived, however since then everything seems to be fine. All staff have been incredibly kind and supportive during my admission.

The social club is wonderful idea for the ward

I felt the doctors didn’t always listen to me regarding medication. The ward wasn’t always clean (due to some residents illnesses and some not tidying up after themselves). More residents should try the activities before saying no.

The whole team works very well together. There is always someone available 24/7 if you have any questions. The availability of drinks and refreshments are first class and the meals are very adequate. I have been given opportunities to spend time with friends and family. Problems can be discussed as they arise. The activities have been fantastic, it has been enjoyable to go out on visits when the weather is nice. It has been nice to have the opportunity to use the ward gym. I can only emphasise how professional the care has been and staff are very compassionate. Communication is always spot on.

I think it would have been better with more day trips out to places.

I couldn't have asked for better care. Everyone has been so helpful.

The hospital has been good to me.

I would have liked to have more variety and more fruit available.
