Townlands Hospital

I visited the hospital at 1930 on Saturday evening. I found both members of staff extremely reassuring and professional, they dressed my wound and explained everything to me in detail. Unfortunately I can’t remember the lady and gentleman’s name but they were absolutely brilliant- thank you so very much for seeing me. Best Regards Leonora Mather

welcoming and calm environment

Reception staff were very helpful. After filling in a short form with my symptoms, I was seen within 25 minutes by Kathy, who was an exceptional nurse. She gave my Achilles a thorough examination, asked lots of helpful questions and then set me up with crutches, pain relief, exercises, and a clear timeline for my recovery. The building itself is fantastic and it’s some of the best care I’ve received as a patient.

The whole experience was excellent. The nurse who cleaned and dressed the wound on my arm was lovely.

I had a wound dressing which needed to be changed at the weekend. After receiving advise from Townlands to get a GP referral I went to minor injuries. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The nurse who changed the dressing was brilliant. She was very reassuring, kind, efficient and helpful. I am very grateful. It was stressful having a weeping wound after knee replacement and the access to the wonderful facility and staff at Townlands was so helpful. Thank you very much.

From the moment we walked in the service was great, we were in seen, x Ray and plastered within 2 hours. It was clean and all staff amazing
