I can tell my worries feeling safe.

Being contacted just an hour before appointment to say that the full assessment would not be complete today due to staff sickness felt like a kick in the teeth after years of waiting, just like another child only several years ago the same thing. [name removed]. Things like this need more than one hours notice, or for cover to be taken during sickness in order for families that have waited so long to be able to complete the young persons long awaited assessment.

The focus was on my sons weight and not what we had been referred to. We got nothing new from the appointment and felt talked at rather than to.

Our appointment ran on time, we were listened to and given good advice and emailed things over there and then. We have a clear plan and look forward to hopefully finding a resolution
