Mr. Mansoor put me at my ease by passing an amusing comment about the singing ability of one of the nurses just before I went into the theatre and during the actual operation asked me if I was alright. It all helped to assure me that I was in good hands and I have recommended Mr. Mansoor to friends who may require cataract surgery in the future

On the back of the initial onset of cataracts I was referred to Newmedica Eye Hospital in Middlesbrough. On my second appointment I met with Mr Quasim Mansoor. He curtiously explained the options to me and recommended a way forward. I had Alcon PanOptix Multifocal lens implants in both eyes. The procedure was very professional and painless. After wearing glasses and contact lenses for over 50 years I now have uncorrected sight - a miracle! Although, not cheap, this is a life changing procedure performed professionally and with care.

Mr Mansoor was very honest about what I could expect from my surgery. I found this very reassuring. On the day of my op I was very nervous and so Mr Mansoor spoke to me during the op which help eased my nerves. On the whole I found him to be professional, caring and honest and post op the outcome is great so a great experience.

Cannot praise enough. In safe confident and calm hands all the way through both cataract removals.

Mr Mansoor explained things clearly to me from the outset, and had a very calm, reassuring manner (& an amazingly steady hand! ) throughout both operations on both of my eyes. I am thrilled with the results - I had both cataracts removed, and a panoptix lense in one eye, and a multifocal lense in the other. I have already recommended Mr Mansoor and his lovely team to a number of my friends/ colleagues.

Everything went very well, the staff were wonderful and the surgeon was very pleasant.

The whole process from start to finish has been excellent and I could not recommend Mr Mansoor and his team highly enough. The service they provide is life changing and they should take great pride and satisfaction from their work, which I think he does, he seemed almost as pleased with the result as I am!!

I cannot speak too highly about the care given by Mr Mansoor. He treated me at Newmedica, North Ormsby and was always punctual for my appointments. He was always efficient and caring, explaining matters to me and very reassuring. During the cataract procedure he explained what was going on when necessary. He has a very friendly demeaner which is infectious. I would also comment that as well as Mr Mansoor all the staff that I met at North Ormsby are excellent. Donna is a star !
