The Surgeon and Anaesthetist were excellent and their care and expertise I fully believe resulted in my rapid recovery. Whilst on the ward all the staff were courteous and kind and I was well looked after.

Report this reviewI realize in some ways this is trivial, but the car parking is a disaster and needs sorting out. We have found major problems with elderly visitors. I feel this swamps many medical issues.

Report this reviewWard 1 - I had cause to visit my elderly father outside of visiting times, they left him buzzing for help on the toilet for nearly half an hour ! They only went to him because I was going to a member of staff one by one asking them to go help him, he could have fallen. In 6 days he’d not been dressed not had a shave, I doubt he’d even had a wash given his wash bag was un touched. They were going to discharge him into an ambulance in a hospital gown and pair of nappy pants - shame on this ward for not treating the elderly with respect and dignity.

Report this reviewI was seen as an outpatient by Mr Banerjee ENT surgeon and Lisa Kennedy audiologist for a hearing assessment with a view to proceeding cochlear implant surgery if suitable/ meeting criteria. Both Mr Banerjee and Lisa took the time to listen to me and explained the results of my hearing tests in detail. This was the first time I have felt that clinicians understood the degree of difficulty I have been experiencing with listening and communication due to my sensory neural hearing loss. I was given the opportunity to ask questions and clarify anything I hadn’t understood. Both clinicians were deaf aware and communication was good. I would highly recommend.
