I first found Mr. Platt when wanting to explore the option of a tummy tuck and went for an initial consultation. I was also considering breast implants under the same procedure. At my appointment Mr. Platt listened in detail to why I would like the procedure and the results I was looking for. He was extremely understanding and honest and after considering his advice, I opted for the tummy tuck only. I am now 4 weeks post op and absolutely amazed at the results already. Mr. Platt is a fantastic and skilled surgeon but also very kind with a fabulous bedside manner. I felt listened to and cared for - from the very first appointment, throughout the procedure and right up until my post op check up. I cannot recommend Mr. Platt highly enough. I am absolutely over the moon with my rhinoplasty result, it’s better than I ever could’ve imagined. I’ve hated my side profile for as long as I can remember, it’s always been an insecurity of mine and I cried with happiness when I saw my new nose!

I came to Alistair after struggling for 20 years with a size 38JJ bra size. After recently being diagnosed with arthritis I was in constant pain across my shoulders, neck and back. Mr Platt is a very approachable, kind and caring man who understood my needs. He immediately put me at ease during our consultation and answered any questions/concerns I had. Throughout the whole process he's been gentle, caring and honest. His work is brilliant, I've had no issues whatsoever and would definitely highly recommend him.

I decided to go private due to the length of time I would have waited via the NHS. I met Mr Platt at St Hughes thinking I had a wart on the end of my nose. He actually advised me that I had a BCC and not to worry as it could be removed. He explained the whole process to me, the skin graft etc and advised that it could be done privately or via the NHS it was completely up to me. I decided to pay privately and for Mr Platt to perform the procedure. Two weeks later I was back at St Hughes, I can’t recommend him enough. He went through everything again for me and explained exactly what was going to happen. The whole operation took about 40 mins. I was constantly reassured and advised what was happening by Mr Platt and the nurses. I have just returned 5 weeks since the op and I’m pleased to the graft has taken, I’ve been given the all clear and my nose looks amazing!

I had upper Blepharoplasty three months ago and was treated by Mr Alistair Platt. He is an amazing surgeon so kind and professional and allows you plenty of time to discuss the procedure. I am so thrilled with the results and I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting plastic surgery.

I had breast reduction surgery in March. Alastair made me feel at ease immediately upon meeting him. He listened to everything I wanted and understood everything I said about how I was feeling. Alastair has totally changed my life with my surgery, I am over the moon with the results so far. I am now a month post surgery after having a rhinoplasty by Mr Platt at the Spire Hospital Hull. My experience was completely smooth sailing. I felt listened to during my consultations and that Mr Platt understood the results I wanted after having a lack of confidence, regarding my nose, from such a young age. My surgery went perfect, along with the after care in which I was told very clearly what to do in order to keep my nose safe and when it came to having my cast removed 10 days post operation, the results were fantastic. Mr Platt managed to remove a very large, obvious bump on the bridge and achieve a straighter looking nose overall, where previously, the tip was not in line with the top of my nose. Additionally, the scarring is exceptionally minimal. After my surgery I also felt like he genuinely cared that I was happy with the results, in my follow up consultation and the morning after my surgery when he came to visit me. He also asked for me to return in a few months to check on the results and how I'm getting on, which again I greatly appreciated. Although I can still expect a few months of swelling at this point in my rhinoplasty journey, I am already extremely happy with the results. I feel so much more confident and I am so pleased I decided to go through with the operation. I feel in someways, as a 19 year old girl, it is somewhat life changing for me to regain such self-confidence with my nose. Whilst I have no plans for it now, if in the future I was to consider another procedure I would not hesitate to choose Mr Platt again, and would highly recommend him and his team to anyone else contemplating surgery.
