Now that my stitches have fallen off and the scar is pretty much healed I can write a short but honest review of my procedure. BEST OF THE BEST! Dr Heaton and his assistant knew exactly what to do, they both made the whole procedure pleasant. The scar is minimal and healed very nicely.

Dr Heaton and Rae, the theatre nurse, were both excellent. They were kind and reassuring. The whole atmosphere was calm, friendly and efficient. I was given verbal and written aftercare advice.

Dr Heaton and his nurse, Emma, make a great team. They are very professional and made me feel at ease instantly. Emma was extremely informative and helpful - she provided me with all the necessary info for my procedure - couldn’t give her and Dr Heaton higher praises!

Dr "Chris" Heaton and his assistant or trainee Emma putus at our ease as soon as we arrived and were informative and reassuring vis a vis the condition and treatment needed. The doctor even offered to do the procedure immediately, but due to logistics we had to decline and join the waiting list. Overall,; really happy with our consultation.

I was seen by Dr Heaton and Emma and given a very thorough examination and explanation of my condition in a most relaxing and informative way. The appointment was on time and everyone in the department was friendly and helpful.

Decisive, professional, personal attention. Dr Heaton assessed the situation of my elderly, anxious mother, and, after Dr Akani’s initial consultation and detailed and patient explanation of the options, decided to perform the procedure that afternoon; this saved my mum (and me) the stress of having to come back to a surgery on another day. Ann and Emma were reassuring and encouraging while Chris expertly performed the curettage and cauterisation. Emma even checked to see that I was ok! Ann gave me the aftercare envelope and clear advice. A brilliant outcome! This happened at the War Memorial Hospital in Gosport, an outpost of the QA.

He saw my mum today (Wednesday 27th Dec) for a growth on the side of her head , he asked her and me what we wanted and was happy to remove it He had a very friendly nurse to help called Emma who was amazing and both of them were very caring towards my mum Thank you so much for the way she was treated with dignity and care

I have just completed treatment provided by Dr Christopher Heaton and his team at Gosport War Memorial Hospital and St Marys Hospital Portsmouth Dermatology department. I was very pleased with the outcome and impressed with the treatment I received. I underwent patch testing, light therapy and a biopsy. All medical personnel gave me a full explanation of what they were doing and why at each stage of the process. At all times they were empathetic and fully understood my concerns about my condition. I have had a great experience with Dr Heaton, I had to have three biopsies in total, one was shaved and the other was an excision. I had the first completed by nurses and a couple of stitches the additional one was completed by Dr Heaton assited by the lovely Rae. During all the meeting's and proceedures Dr Heaton has explained everything thoroughly putting me at ease about what I was having done and why. Such a great doctor. In my second proceedure, (which was a larger area) Rae was amazing explained everything she was assising with and put my nerves at ease. Thank you so much for both of your assistance and support with everything.

Dr Heaten and his assistant Mary, put me at ease from the first to the last moment of this procedure. As a team they were totally professional and a credit to both themselves and to the there employers.
